Ship your first paid SaaS with Claude Code.
Defy is a Claude Code plugin. Three commands take your idea to a live app that charges money, with a reviewer agent on every step and design skills that make it feel right.
An example session with the Defy plugin.
Three commands
The whole path, not just the code.
Claude can write anything. Defy tells it what to write, in what order, to production standards, and checks the work before you move on.
- 01
/defy:new From idea to a running app free
Pins down who pays, the one job and the price, then scaffolds Next.js with Supabase sign-in, a real landing page and a CLAUDE.md that keeps every agent on-product.
- 02
/defy:stripe Start charging
Stripe Checkout, signed and idempotent webhooks, a subscriptions table with row-level security and the customer portal, tested end to end in test mode.
- 03
/defy:ship Put it live
Pre-flight checks, a preview deploy, then production on Vercel with live Stripe, auth redirects and a smoke test of the real checkout.

Questions
Before you start
- What exactly is Defy?
- A Claude Code plugin. You install it from our marketplace, then three commands take you from an idea to a live app that charges money: /defy:new, /defy:stripe and /defy:ship.
- What does the license key unlock?
- /defy:new is free for everyone. The key unlocks /defy:stripe and /defy:ship, the steps that turn your app into a business.
- Is Claude Code included?
- No. Defy runs inside Claude Code, which comes with a Claude Pro or Max plan from Anthropic. Your code and your accounts stay yours.
- What does it build with?
- Next.js, Supabase for sign-in and data, Stripe subscriptions and Vercel hosting. Every app gets a CLAUDE.md so later agents stay on-product.
- Is it really one payment?
- Yes. The plugin is $99 once, including every future update. A Build Sprint is $800 per sprint.
- I joined Defy on Whop before. What now?
- Your access stays. Your existing Whop membership keeps working, and you can manage it from Whop as before.
